New Brunswickers across the province are facing rising energy costs, as many homes were built without energy efficiency in mind.

Deputy Chief, Susan Ducasse, of Pabineau First Nation, speaks about the ongoing challenges her community faces, and how she's working to secure much needed funding for home upgrades for residents.

While the weaving was underway, the participants were encouraged to share a bit about their relationship with fire and how it has impacted their lives up to this point. Climate change is a huge issue, but finding a community can make facing climate change less daunting!
